St George BLACK LIME™. A Rock Dust of Great Fortitude. A "Superfines" gradation (#10-0) for adding minerals and sweetening soils. Regulates pH naturally. Great source of calcium and magnesium in good proportion, iron, manganese, sodium, sulfur, silicon, elemental carbon and trace elements. Builds mineral content and adds carbon in one application. Manages phosphorus leaching. Suggested application rates: Broadcast to ground at between 5-25 lbs./100 square feet, fully incorporate. Add to compost at 20 lbs. per cubic yard of raw biomass. This material has alkaline earth elements which will tend to buffer acidic soils as the material weathers, can be a 45% buffering as a lime equivalent.
